Tampa Curb Spots + Local's Sesh
« on: June 26, 2023, 11:26:35 PM »
Hey guys, I'm a 40-year-old skateboarder from Brazil (Rio) and I'm visiting Tampa every year since last year because I have family there. I would like to know the locals and have a good time skating curbs in parking slots and other good spots in the city. I'll be based in Wesley Chapel in August.

Also, use this topic to post pics of cool spots from Tampa.  :)

Have you skated the bro bowl? It features a snake run that leads to a curb along the outside of the bowl. A clean ride on grind from snake run. The coping is also a curb. It's hard to describe but it's one of my favorite 'curb spots' I've ever skated, even tho it's at a skatepark. It also has enough space along the outside to skate it like a normal curb.

Here's the best picture to describe what I mean

The best tampa curbs (in my opinion) can be found around E Jackson St in downtown tampa. start there and look around and there should be some areas underneath the expressway that have nice ground and waxed curbs of different varieties
