Insoles for DC Matt Miller
« on: April 08, 2015, 03:33:52 PM »
So I have a highly unique dilema. I have ETC. insoles and I am currently skating the DC Matt Miller shoe. The insoles don't fit quite right because of the primo pad sits funny in the shoe and is more sharply angled upwards I feel. I was skating the Landau and they fit fine and felt great but now too much walking and it hurts.

So my question does anyone else skate the Matt Miller (Mike Mo, Nyjah, any of the DC pro/newer models since they all seem to be more fitted) with insoles? If so what kind? I've done a little looking and I'm thinking about getting a pair of Remind or Footprint. I like to skate ledges and manny pads if that helps.

If you skate ledges and manny pads why the beefed up aftermarket insoles?

I would go with the flat footprint ortho-lite insoles. Pretty similar to the ones found in the Lynx and they're pretty good for a decent price

I have the thinnest Footprint insoles (Terry Kennedy) in my Mikey Taylor S shoes. Definitely feels better than the stock, which was too soft. I repurposed that one for a non-skate shoe.

Like the others mentioned go with a thin insole, I couldn't get any aftermarket (or stock insoles from other shoes) to fit right in my mike mos without them feeling way too tight; even the lunarion ones from nike/cons felt too thick.
