Im here on study exchange until the beginning of June, its kind of a long time to skate by myself so if any Melbourne posters would want to meet up that would be really cool. Also any tips on things to do/places to go?

yeah Lincoln is on the top of my list of places to skate when I get the chance. Anything else I should check out though (neighborhoods, music venues etc.)

St Kilda beach is fun when it's not windy as fuck. I'm back in Melbourne full time in 10 days, PM me if you wanna check out some spots. Just so you know in advance, I'm terrible.

Tell us what you're into/about yourself, would be easier to suggest some stuff that way!

would recommend St Kilda, always friendly crew around there from what I've seen, always try to skate the park there when I get the chance.

Yeo I didn't wanna start a new thread and this is the first one I found related to Australia. My question regards the work and holiday visa. Does anybody know how long the application process is? And what I mean by that is getting all the necessary paperwork to complete and file the application and then hearing back about whether or not you have attained the visa.

these visas have really quick processing times. usually only takes 2-4 days for them to be granted and it's all done online. they can take a little while longer if you have any health or criminal issues though, in which case you may have to provide a police check and/or complete a medical. usually a pretty cruisey application on the whole though
