I agree that reboots are lazy

but I was looking at some some Kr3w ads to post, and not gonna lie. I can easily see why why they were cool 12 years ago. Look at these cool guys

They gonna bring back the best hoodie of all time without TK's name on it?

Is this gonna devalue the matching Flexfit I found at a Goodwill several years ago and have yet to post for sale??

I know everybody was high on Reynolds at the time but the Greco jeans treated me better.

Polka dots on the Greco pant cuffs were so good.  Krew had a cool thing going, I would prefer altamont though.

kr3w was sicker than altamont…

like altamont never had that aura about it like kr3w did…at least in my neck of the woods. kr3w just hit differnt.
altamont to me was like kr3w lite…or diet kr3w, if you will

Younger inner me prefers Kr3w, but slightly older and more mature-ish knows Altamont is more appropriate for current self.

However, Kr3w did have a magic fron their team, their ads, their quality in clothes, etc. They pushed brown cords heavy snd we all lapped it up hahah

To be honest, I don't think I ever had a pair of Kr3w pants, in spite of always wanting them. Always wore Levi's, Ezekiel, or Volcom pants that I could get at discount department stores.

I really wish the Altamont collection with Alyasha (FiberOps, Droors, etc) came to fruition.

To be fair, I'm aware that these logo style tees exist from Altamont, but I largely associate Altamont with their flannels, button ups etc. that came slightly later once they actually picked up traction with people.

Altamont was the more button up/flannel toned down but still nuanced edgy version of Krew. Less bombastic, earthy, but whispers of the three shirt examples you posted. If. I had to pick, I'd do the top shirt with a simple pattern button up over it.

Something like these. Either way, I loved both brands and didn't own much of either growing up when I wanted em!

I still have my Reynolds Altamont X Jimi Hendrix shirt somewhere. Anyone know if it’s worth anything?

Kr3w had that city, rap/hip hop feel.  Kr3w is sick don’t get me wrong.  I also second that altamonts strength was in the jackets, button downs, and sweaters.  I loved their sloppy stitching.  It felt more like a DIY rock music thing.

I’d rep, and have repped, the no logo shirt.

Well gang, looks like Kr3w has been gentrified.

$128 for a plain hoody
$44 for a plain hat
$48 for a plain tee

Wow. They put zero effort into this.

And the quality of the gear doesn't even look better than a $12 Uniqlo tee

I agree and hope that’s true.

KREW shit the bed on this one. I think everything is made in LA, but none of this is worth that amount. So plain.

I could have seen Boo on the 2009 era Krew. The thing is do you want a bunch of 40 year olds on the team trying to sell swag to a key demo of 15-25?

Dude I had this logo tee, except the font was pink, yellow, and green or something! It was my favorite shirt for years and one that I would bust out when I needed to flex on some hoes in my freshman year of high school. Needless to say, the hoes were not impressed.

When I first started skating in like 2010, Krew and Altamont were both the hottest brands around. I would convince my mom to buy me as many of their jeans and tees as I could find on sale hahahaha. I had the dark indigo Jim Greco Krews with the polka cuffs too. Those were so fucking sick back then. I also had a Krew tee that had a huge print of the Zodiac Killer cypher on it and red letters in the middle of it that said "Krew kills". Once I got that, it replaced that Altamont shirt as my favorite tee. The hoes were literally scared of me at that point. I remember multiple people, including one or two of my teachers, taking one look at that tee and then asking me if I was ok with a really concerned look on their faces. I was an edgy teenager so I ate that shit up.

The first time I ever had extra spending money I bought some TK krew pants because they looked the baggiest. This was when everyone was rocking skinny jeans. I was like 170lbs... Those damn jeans fit me like shinny jeans! So bummed. Tk must have some chicken legs. But the printing above the pocket was so bad ass. lol They were indestructible tho. All the homies had the TK hoodie already in all the colors so I missed out. The white one withe blue and pink lettering was the best tho. Good times, who knew.
