Maybe provide, I dunno, a time to start next time? I actually tried to sift through that in increments to find it which was fucking horrible. I've never listened to that before but....dear fucking god.

in Olsons defense, this was probably one of his worst episodes. For the most part, the show is actually pretty solid / skate nerdy when the right dudes are behind the mic.

Really? The other one I heard was pretty much as awful as this. Bunch of random people being unfunny.

ya.  Every once in a while, the show will only have no more than 3 people in the room - giving way for actual conversations to sprout up.  Shows like this last one where theres like 10 dudes trying to share one mic always ends up being a disaster.

Dudes like Charles Lamb, Mike Giglotti, Eric Duncan and Ted Newsome have been on the show and have actually had some pretty interesting musings / tidbits / tangents on skateboarding - dudes who aren't exactly "A - list" figures in the skate industry, but have been in and around skating for quite some time. The Eric Duncan show, for example, had a lot of good stuff about the making of Mouse, as Eric was the the dude who curated the soundtrack for that video.

Olson's a good facilitator when he wants to be . . . but at the same time, it's easy for him to lose control of the room and just let everyone go off on their own little spiels.

this is what i mean, but i still don't think you understand

thought you were trolling at first. Then decided to listen to the podcast again with headphones on and the volume at full blast. Now I totally hear what you're saying. Olson is definitely in trouble. Can't believe i didn't notice.
