Shit you've built recently
« on: June 11, 2016, 06:22:02 AM »
Post shit you built to do maneuvers on recently. Just built this box with both a metal and granite edge. Protip: most granite countertop stores have kitchen splashboards that they fucked up and are more than happy to give you cause they're heavy and a pain in the ass to dispose of.

Sorry for the massive pics

Time will tell but it seems to be doing okay. I have a rub brick so if it chips i can always buff it out. Worst case scenario I'm just gonna pour a concrete lip in place.

Finished a mini ramp in March, 3' tall by 11' wide with 14' of flatbottom. It is just steep enough to slide lip tricks without the wheels touching. It's fun and indoors which is good for the snow or for days like today where it was hot and muggy. There is Masonite on the ramp now, but this is when it was still a plywood dream.

Did you just liquid nail it in place?

Yup. Hard to tell from the pics but it actually broke into 3 pieces last time because I used caulk and it just popped off while I was moving it. Needless to say I sprang for the $5 construction adhesive this time.
