Richie from Asbury Park who Fred Gall and Lou Metal used to hook up on Metal Skateboards is Haitian and he ripped as a little kid... unfortunately he had a shitty home life... found him self in some trouble and got deported back to Haiti where he was born. 

My wife is Haitian and we went for a visit about a year ago.  Andrew Petillo suggested I try to get a hold of Richie but I was unable to track him down. 

I didn't do any skating but I did see some spots.

I surfed quite a bit and there is actually very good untapped surf there.  If I win the lottery (which I'm due to win because I've been on quite the losing streak and you can't lose forever) I'm going to invest in some property there at one of the surf spots and try to get some surf tourism started as well as try to get some of the local kids into it.  I'll have a sweet mini ramp there too and I'll get the kids skating as well.

It's going to be awesome and you're all invited.

The scene was so good there after the park closed the bowl was still in there and you could sneak in and skate it...
