Those E-Cues look like the bastard child of the Dylan 2's and the Zoom Tre's.

I'm kind of surprised to hear you guys praising the E-cues. Maybe I hadn't given them enough time to break in?  This was an era when I could seamlessly switch up my gear, and I'd skate consistent to my level regardless.

I wanna say I had tried them after skating a few pairs of Ipaths consecutively, so that could have been the difference.

I remember at the time it seemed like everyone got a pair for free. I don't know how, but tons of people I knew had them and nobody bought them. We all got them from shops and reps. I'm trying to remember how that came to be but I'm coming up with nothing. We definitely thought they were weird and ugly, but they skated so well and Reese Forbes wore them a lot so people came around.

Crazy as that was pretty similar to how it was here. It was a huge deal here when Nike hit and the local started carrying them, but sadly I assume it was Nike that was somewhat of a contributing factor in the economic downfall of the shop.

I don't even exactly remember how I ended up with the pair I did. I just know at that time there were a few pairs kept under the counter, and given out to the regulars in need. I was piling out pretty hard around those days, so the fine details were foggy.

No shit, because people used to skate street and not want to fuck with Nike. Then this shitty and soft generation of jock dipshit kids came around and things got corny as fuck
Are you a kook? If you would say this, the answer is “YES”
I quit skating for a time due to piling out

I could care less what type of shoes he's skating. Super hyped to see Bam back on a skateboard. He could skate in some Sketchers IDGAF!

Big brother shoe reviews were amazing. I remember one they had was "how well does it take a bullet?" and they just shot all the sample shoes they had for review.

That color is shit but I loved the Angus. I might have been the only one cause I used to have no problem scoring them cheap on eBay. I still use their insoles in shoes I buy now.

The last pair I had was synthetic and was a bitch to break in but the pair before that I was hyped on:
