Fantasy camp shouldn't be far behind......
I've literally called Woodward about doing this. if they did like a 30+ week with older pros coming, i wold be all over it in a fucking heartbeat.
oh man, and they get script to make it seem like your the new flow kid, and you go in the van with them to "spots" and "prove yourself" half way through you get the bump to am and at the end you go pro and they have a party and you actually get a a box of 10 boards with your pro graphic on it for Woodward Skates, like skate 3 or some shit
it never even crossed my mind to take it this far.... holy shit i want in. They should make a 2 week package where you get to pile out and you get kicked off the team so when you return to your real job it seems even more authentic.
P. Rod's Pro-to-Pile Package: Do you have what it takes to be a pro for Primitive Skateboards? This 2 week total immersion experience hosted by legendary pro skater Paul Rodriguez, will take you above, beyond and all the way down.
oh sorry i was actually calling about the black label package... its the one where one teacher invests his time and effort into making me a better skater during the beginning of camp and then another more well known teacher gets paid and all the credit for discovering me at the end.
Could you please explain this metaphor? Maybe be a couple years two young to get it...
John Lucero like Dave Bergthold has/ had a reputation as a top spotter of future greats who they subsequently couldn't keep because having brought them to the attention of the wider world always lost to bigger teams/ budgets.
See also Creation/ Brian Delatorre and so on.
I think.
