The fact that Lizard King is on the same level as guys like Hayes, Kirby, and Dickson is absurd. I don't know why, but I just irrationally can't stand him. Maybe it's because his entire schtick reminds of 2011, from the Krew pants to the Supras, and that year sucked.

lizard's part could have left out all of the gimmicky bullshit and it would have had a bigger impact.  it was actually a really sick part, but didn't need to be 2 songs.  a lot of that stuff could have been in the credits

it was kind of a revolutionary edit for lizard to have a shit part to lower your expectations then comes through with a better second one. it's kinda like the opposite of a hammers part.

ellington made that inward heel look so nice. cant recall him doing those, only pressure flips. i really hope he has a part in one of these. maybe the fact that he only had 2 clips means hes saving stuff for a part? probably wishful thinking on my part.

is greco still considered part of deathwish or is he strictly doing hammers usa now? would be nice to see more of him

This is a great video. The only thing missing is Greco getting something in there.

Very stoked on Ellington's two tricks. A Jake Hayes kickflip over a bar is always worth watching, Foy continues to lengthen his lead as 2018 SOTY's top contender, and Kirby is just a monster. Neen kinda has Furby syndrome - great skating but it just doesn't thrill. And it looks like Slash is on the way out, which is a shame because I really think he has more to give but he just hasn't been producing the footage. The dearth is just compounded by Foy's inhuman output of great tricks.
 
I'm glad Lizard's sobriety hasn't made him less psychedelic. He should get respect as the innovator he is. He started this intentionally landing on the stairs thing. And you just don't see very many people one-footing into tricks. I really thought the Deathwish video would be the last hurrah of the Lizard King so I'm psyched.

Dickson, though. Damn! The dude skates like a bulldozer. The cabellarial over the bar into the bank? And the two trick stair line at 11:30 with that ridiculous switch frontside flip. Of all the tricks to not have a second angle, why that one. Anytime Dickson goes switch you'd better watch those legs. So good.
I was a little skeptical when he went pro before Moose, but it looks like Deathwish made the right call on that one.
