Just (virtually) rolled up on one of these. Will post the set up once i receive it.
https://drkrminc.com/collections/decks/products/prisma-skateboard-deck?variant=32146610847793

8.75" wide
14.25" wheelbase
6.625" tail
6.375" nose
31.5" length

Looks sick, may have to buy

Ayyyye. This looks nice. How’d you shape it?
[close]

I marked the centerline on the deck and about an inch back from the lower bolt holes on the nose and tail.  Traced the tail onto paper and then folded that in half.  Cut it to a different shape and then laid it out on the deck to see if I liked it.

Tried that a couple times till I had one I liked. Traced the shape on the tail of the deck, did the same for the nose.
Jig saw, sander, sandpaper...

Thanks! Looks nice fr. Well done.

Not sure what your definition of huge is exactly but I’m assuming 9+? I know 35th Ave has a nine inch football shape. Their shop boards are really good and worth the price, plus the shop is rad.

I’m down. A 9 egg feels like an 8.5 popsicle... I want 9.5 or 10. I think our best bet is to petition Heroin to make more big ones. I’d love to pick up a zip zogger but I’m not stoked on the tail.

Hell yeah, that looks awesome. I’m a big fan of Moebius and just ordered one of the other Villani eggs. Any chance you could post a sideways pic so I could see the kicks and concave on that? No problem if you don’t feel like it

Hope this helps..used a pit gauge to measure the concave in the middle of the board.. Roughly bout 4/10 of an inch.. Which is like 3/8 of an inch..

No problem.. Was curious as well.. identical to franky's other egg shaped deck.. U ordered the new franky board that's on the primitive site? I regretted not pulling the trigger on the franky 10" soo full deck when it was on sale. That would be a super fun bigboi to skate

Yeah, I grabbed the red graphic one because it was cheaper and I wasn’t sure if I would like the shape or not. For sure, I would have loved to have tried that 10 egg.

I just came off a semi egg shaped Heroin, which met an untimely end so I set up my first real egg, another Heroin (eggsorcist) which is 9.4 wide. I never rode an egg before those and wasn’t sure I would like the shape but it turns out that I love them, which is what led me down the rabbit hole of grabbing that Villani. That should tide me over until this bout of madness passes haha

It seems to be about 14.3. So far I’ve had two Heroin decks and have really liked them!

Heroin Eggxorcist 9.4
Indy Ti 159
Ricta cloud 56mm, 78a (alternating w/ NFG square shape 54mm)
beautiful set up. still kicking myself for not scooping one of these decks up. Gonna have to contend myself the golden bigger egg reissue.

Did or did not Heroin used to make a smaller egg? 8.25, or 8.38 or something?

Pretty sure the original Shimizu egg was 8.75, then they came out with the 'big egg' at 9.125, then the 'bigger egg' last season at 10"

No idea on your query, but if I ever make it through my backlog of several years old half skated boards, I’d look at a narrower egg shape. Shaped boards can be fun, I just don’t need bigger than 8” trucks, that’s never helped me.

A good friend of mine loves these for street. Wallrides are so easy when there is no board contact.

I never thought about why, but I agree with the wall ride thing. Feels a lot easier on my 9.4 egg than on the last 8.3 popsicle I rode. Doesn’t feel any less maneuverable either.

Just set up a 8.5 heroin board. I haven't skated in a year but the wood feels cheap. I'm not sure if I am tripping or not so does anyone else feel similarly? It almost feels like the board was previously waterlogged. I'm also not used to the egg shape yet, I kinda wish I got a popsicle since its been awhile

As far as I know the smallest one was the original one for Shimizu that was 8.5. They actually reissued that one for the black summer stuff a year or so ago, without Shimizu's name. The next closest thing you can find right now is the fried egg from last season at 8.9. There's also the Hardbody football at 8.75 for those interested in diving into the egg extended universe.
