social media gave MJ a platform to really expose himself and who he really is off his board which should have been kept behind the curtain. There are a lot of pros that suffer from this social media thing. Koston and Berra and the Nazi immediately come to mind.

when a pro you grew up admiring turns out to be a dick on instagram it's like the same feeling as when you find out an old girlfriend you still care for cheated on you with luke from the soccer team.
you kind of guessed it at the time and just tried to ignore it even though it's been in the back of your mind, souring the whole situation for you. now years later you're confronted with it as plain simple fact.

you're a grown man and it shouldn't matter to you anymore but you still can't shake it and move on.
pretty glad i don't use instagram or facebook so i can appreciate people more and not have to experience all the self-adulation and superficial contrived bullshit that i see when it spills over here. guess i'm also glad i didn't idealize and deify pros, though. was always more stoked on local dudes who all turned out to be good people at the end of the day, once you got post all of the hierarchy and unnecessary shit that came along with it of those times

on the commentary for the scene where jeremy klein rollerblades at that little skatepark he said the actual blader with dreads who was there came up to him and asked him if he listens to korn

Better be sending Shannon May big checks. Is otherness done? I didn't think so, but that Shannon May Cindy G&S was one of the best boards I ever had. Bought three in the space of a year, back when boards lasted 5-6 months.  This is the only old board is pay any price for.  And they even did it in the blue stain.   Marc grew up near Shannon I believe.  That deep south scene had heavy g&s and later AW influence.  Any Pals live close to this shop?

The graphics are dope. I want to back this company. I’m curious who’s on and the shapes. I’m hoping short wheel bases wide boards. Also they need to do this proper and drop a video along with the board launch.

Graphics are decent, team is on the up and up. Now if Marc doesnt shoot himself in the foot, the company might have staying power

this is the same filmer who made that dashawn part a few weeks ago that got like 3 pages of complaints about the camera shake.
another pseudo intellectual artsy brand with blown out LA spots, great. you can't pretend to be quasi, polar, and killing floor but skate the same spots as the blind team.
dashawn rips though

Yeah I pretty much think the graphics range from "neat" to "okay" and then you get to those and they're fucking embarrassing. Horrible decision to keep those in the lineup. Is it Marc's attempt to snare that kiddy demographic? Because they're horrible.
