Yeah I pretty much think the graphics range from "neat" to "okay" and then you get to those and they're fucking embarrassing. Horrible decision to keep those in the lineup. Is it Marc's attempt to snare that kiddy demographic? Because they're horrible.
I see it as Marc's way of sarcastically putting down the current youth population for not also being on an elevated mental level.
I can hear his voice in the boardroom* (*phone call with graphic artist) "This. This is what the fucking youth is being taught. Get it? It's like a Barbie that's portraying shitty activities, you know, like what the youth is doing now. They are brainwashed, man. The kids like don't even fucking know what's hitting them over the heads!"

I wish he had named his company quasi-Quasi and forced them to send a cease and desist. Oh the irony.

Marc in bold, Dave not in bold

"You want to do a brand? We should do a brand dude!
I mean, we're about that business. We want to make this cool and fun. The business is definitely something we would need to talk about.

Yeah, you know me - all day every day I'm about that business.
And we want to keep right company, you know?"

Then change the name to Cease and Desist in response. Or just start of by naming it Cease and Desist. Nevermind, I'm naming my new board company Cease and Desist, so he can't. If you all want to ride for Cease and Desist, just pm me a vhs of you skating in front of your house.

They're only offensive in that they're really stupid ideas that weren't left on the cutting room floor.

Exactly. I'm really surprised and irritated at the amount of people in these comments that aren't really digging these. This screams Marc Johnson. All the early enjoi adverts from the early 00s were all him and you can just sense the seething passive aggressiveness in the work. I think the earlier teasers were more of a deviation from his prior work and thought process. Maybe more of a deeper dive into his psyche but the Barbie mock ups are classic MJ. They might seem a little bit of low hanging fruit for his creativity and potential but they're nowhere near as bad as people are making them seem.

Mmm, I don't know. They still reek of slut-shaming. As far as I can tell there's no redeeming value; if it is satirical, it's too opaque.

But I actually like the rest of the graphics, they're not bad.
