I don’t care for that graphic I think it’s dumb and lazy. Nostalgia for guess jeans? Cool bro… I might be alone but I’m not really into actual photos as skate graphics.
[close]

It’s an homage to a famous Jason Lee Blind board.  Much like their previous homage to the Shannon May/Cindy Crawford board and in line with what Marc has always done with this brand

Didn’t Mariano also have a similar graphic?
Was it something to do with Mariano losing his virginity in that Big Brother competition ad too?

Maybe you would prefer the hardware?

Great, looking forward to the Fuck Your Feelings bearings.

This might help explain... http://evokerone.blogspot.com/2009/05/jason-lee-and-adam-mcnatt-claudia.html

One of the coolest graphics at the time, especially as all 5 Blind riders had the same graphic. Easily one of the best behind the scenes stories behind a graphic.

That's great to hear, I figured as much, I'd love to try one if they make it to Oz - Marc has been doing this so long and has a long history of working on shapes from way back A-Team days with Rodney - so it's rad to see Marc put his knowledge into the boards (and not just another pointless company printing graphics on generic BBS shapes, that we don't need).

Seems everyone is kinda overthinking the little dicks, seems fine to me. The "Fucking Offended" sticker is kinda meh but whatever (probably just a tongue in cheek dig at FA). I'd definitely rock an "I love little dicks" sticker though, that's some quality 90s humour. ;D ;D ;D

Thanks for the insight.  Still looks like a worse copy of the original, and the original is whatever in my opinion, but to each their own obviously.  Love MJ though, and hope there’s more of an effort to bring back B&C.

It’d be a bummer to hear MJ is a Ben Shapiro guy, but I assume we’re all just having some fun here.

Hairy Bushings is pretty funny.

The original bLind deck has an interesting top graphic quote. I applaud MJ's graphic sensibilities…

Girl reissued it at some point. Here is the Girl sweatshirt I have.

Sean Cliver explains the whole story in his book. It had something to do with a graphic he was making for Powell. He got fired then went back into Powell and got the graphic. Rocco then used it for the Blind decks.

That gives me much needed context for that Theories board with Elaine from Seinfeld. I already liked it, but it’s cool that it’s an homage.

I had the Girl shirt when they redid this graphic and loved it and wore it tons. Held on to it forever too and then awhile ago sold it to some collector guy.

Also the original photo made me horny as fuck when I was a young teen.

Shit, still does if I'm gonna be honest.

I miss Marc Johnson skating & his output on the skateboarding Business, I hope he comes back even if it will only be as a team manager on his own Company.
