He obvs is talking about the 2nd two. Daan was fully on, about to have a slip pro color then left. He's going to have a big Nike push in 2019. Also, Elijah is very much still on Vans. Vans actually forced shops to book his new pro shoe (Nike style), saying if you want to sell Pro Skate, you have to sell the Elijah in this color.

at my local shop Nike SB has no minimums and no shoes get forced on the shop ever. Vans wont even give them an account until they have been in business for 5 years and they will have to bring in Vans apparel. Fuck Vans they dont support shops because they have to protect their mall real estate

ok every season there are "stories" (meaning capsules). And if you want that capsule, you have to at least take the "marketed" colorway (sometimes its two colorways) and some apparel, which makes sense. But you don't need to order a full line, you can like order only a few boxes/sizes. Considering there's a end of season return policy, it's not that big of a deal.

5 colorways for this new elijahs. some are ugly some are good looking (blue yellow and burgundy black are fine)
