His back leg starts going the same way he scoops the board right after the pop, but he stops and make it go back sideways like he was trying to do a late nollie flip which is stupid cause the board isn't under his back foot anymore.
It's unecessary, there's is no relation between that late move and the board rotation whatsoever. The only reason to do this would be aesthetics but it doesn't make any sense because it looks ugly and dumb.
And this shit is already mainstream for treflips and shovs, what's next kicking your leg back while doing kickflips? what about kicking your leg forward while doing nollie flips? Where is this disgusting shit leading us? is every skateboard trick gonna end up looking like a benihana?

Well I for one enjoyed that game more than I expected to when I saw who was playing. I was watching and wondering why it seemed light-hearted and like the two of them were having fun etc, then I remembered they are teammates.
While I don’t neccessarily like the introduction of the Red Towel / opponent gets to challenge a make, I interpreted McClung’s use of it as reasonable and sort of jocularly wanting to keep the game going and acknowledging his being on the ropes. It certainly didn’t seem to me like some “bitch move” or whatever the fuck you wanna describe it so it seems lame.

I can't get over how bad it looks! But the more I am watching it I also start to wonder if he was actually going for some variation of front foot impossible? I am not trying to justify learning such an ugly trick - unless you are Daewon, then it is okay (But Daewon is on another plane of existence than the rest of us)
