I see it popping up in other threads here and there, so why provide a safe space to focus entirely on where Foundation is at right now and what we think of it.
I gotta say, between Oddity and KOTR, against all odds the current Foundation team is actually sticking in my memory. Cole Wilson basically owns 'up the rail' tricks (that recent street rail up 50-50 rock fakie 50-50 sealed the deal) and has won the past two Real Street competitions (for what that is worth in the minds of skaters).
Corey Duffman put himself back in the spotlight with that Keeping the Faith part.
And King of the Road has miraculously added a little life to such cut-outs of Aiden Campbell and Corey Glick. Obviously the team has chops, but now they have personality. Even Nick Merlino's image has somehow transformed from unacceptably annoying to endearingly annoying. KOTR has made me actually like Foundation again (and basically done the opposite for Real).
And I gotta say the whole reputation as 'the team that doesn't get paid' has created a real vibe that these guys all love skating and have a real family thing going.
I wonder if their board sales have picked up recently?
Also, this flow chart of the history of Foundation's riders and videos that Thrasher did a while back is awesome:
