Ha I love your recent Ben Folds obsession, even though I might not understand it.

Honestly I think the only song of his that I've heard all the way through is his Bitches Ain't Shit cover.

i almost posted that song cuz i was watching a live version and he was saying how he wrote the melody for another sad song but used the dr dre lyrics cuz it was a super depressing song too ... just doesn’t seem like it with the gangsta rap vibe

Perfect for when you just want to put on some lipstick, lock the door and stare at the wall.

When nothing in society deserves respect, we should fashion for ourselves in solitude new silent loyalties.

I had a friend who listened to sys.of the down and would sing along to the soulful parts -that was depressing for me.   I thought colledge drop out was depressing and had to endure it two or three times. Oh and some Gorillaz record, the stones record with it's only rock and roll

Let me preface this post with the fact that I am slightly inebriated, very uneducated and I havent read any papers or done any research at all, or read your post really.

Now, we used to say we put on our tights to put on the world. So I don't think it tarnishes the image at all.
