Some beats reminded me of Requiem for a Dream.

When my brother died I found this band that did a fine job of putting to music my depression and overwhelming sadness:

All of the other music of The Antlers I've heard has sound boring/generic, but this album still always fucks me up.
Just listened to it again today.

Such a good song. He made a second version, that was also once featured on adult swim

Bibio put out some really good albums.
At some point it seemed like he turned into a generic electronic artist though, and I kind of stopped paying attention.

Always have fantasized about editing an epic Love park tribute part to this song.

Kinda higher energy, but nonetheless some pretty good emo revival.

This. Whole album is amazing.

Also, Sorority Noise will bum you right the fuck out. But it's really good.

Eric's Trip wrote the best songs about girls getting mad at you for getting high.

Also this:

I know this is prob super played out / white girl music, but Its good. Heres why this song strikes such a chord with me:

I find that my life is comprised of 2 things, Skateboarding and making depressing make out mixtapes.  The funny thing is I rarely put my self into situations that give me a chance to utilize the mixes.  Recently Ive been putting myself out there a little  more than usual and its pretty cool to have a girl come over and hook up with her while listening to these playlists that I put together.  I had this chick over (she is defiantly the best looking girl I  had ever hooked up with before so I was fucking hyped) and we were watching youtube videos on my tv, then I put the playlist on and started making out with her.  When this song came on shit was going crazy and it was awesome. We defiantly had some good physical chemistry.  She ended up being pretty lame tho, one of those girls that is trying super hard to be cool or whatever. Not my kind of chick, but id be lying if I said i didn't think about her sometimes.

Shalom

my fear and anger for humanity has molded me to avoid most people, music really helps me center my frustration.

Since I no longer expect anything from mankind except madness, meanness, and mendacity; egotism, cowardice, self delusion, I have stopped being a misanthrope.

the whole damn album. especially “I wish”. think if crass decided to make sad music. lol (I believe they were on crass records as well)

I have no problem admitting that EVERY TIME I hear this song I cry. like a bitch.

so good.so sad
This has me cracking up, what exactly does Black Flag have to do with measuring your dick starting behind ya nuts?

Skateboarding is nothing but a game to find the right fits to appear like you're a proportional human being instead of a midget or a giant.
