Dylan is depressing for me.   The singer songwriter carol king style shit depresses me.

My freind took me to a Alt J concert, that was depressing.  Stupid blinding light show too.  I hadnt listened to them and ill admit that the guitarist had some talent but overall that was some of the white-est shit ive seen!

When this shit dropped i was so blown away. Elliott Smith was the greatest junkie poet.

Shit hits me right in the heart every time. He spoke our language like wu tang hidden though.

Every line says the same thing again another way. One track mind.

Now, we used to say we put on our tights to put on the world. So I don't think it tarnishes the image at all.

I can't recommend this highly enough if you want to wallow in depression. It's long too for bonus misery.

This is worth a listen, the film it's from (Godmoney) has a super depressing ending and fades out to this song.

Maybe the most beautiful song I’ve heard

Also, as a side note, Canada’s first music video.

Not really down with the Drain Gain aesthetic too much, but I think ecco2k is a standout.  The record I heard is pretty interesting.

"There's no reason in this life
Someone lives and someone dies
And it should come as no surprise
'Cause there's no reason in this life

You know I went to the beach but I didn't swim
Just watched the waves come breakin' in
Someone try to answer why
Lord, I'm alive and my brothers died

There's no reason in this life
Someone lives and someone dies
And it should come as no surprise
'Cause there's no reason in this life"
