Idk  pretty sure he's a step above Kris Markovich with either flopped brands and sponsors, I've said before Vallely has an acquired style that it's not for me but good for him.

I think anyone who's a skater that gets in to music whom has a firm background in music theory/reputable band they'll make it. Tommy G is a great example as well as Ray Barbee nothing punk just doing their own stuff. However Duane Peters and Mike V. Although it might've appealed to younger audiences it sounds vapid and gimmicky a caricature if you will.

Duane Peters and Mike Vallely are the Sid Vicious and Henry Rollins of the skate world, remarkable in their own ways but a bit cringey than I'd want to see or listen to.
