None of those guys have competed in enough obscure bowl contests in the late 90s and early 2000s to be considered true OGs. Hassan was the first to realize he couldn't beat Bob, Rune, Tony and Bucky in vert contests, so he shifted over to bowl/park contests and started beating street skaters with warm up tricks.

my guess is protec probably trimmed their program behind the scenes. When I think of Omar Hassan's Skating, I don't imagine him with a helmet. He did have a signature helmet with them.

It's sad, but part of the problem is that people don't know the different between a professional skateboarder and Taylor, so they will just believe that she is the level that women athletes are at and they're just getting bulldozed by trans women, when really, nowadays top women can hold there own against dudes, and really we're like one more generation of women from parity.
