I'm convinced his style would automatically appear better if his shoes weren't always clunky looking.

Like a nice thin pair of Janoskis might make the dude look 10x better on a skateboard.

He killed it tho.

No. Fuck that shit. I'm sick of looking at a zoomed in swoosh every single fucking part.

Anyway, good part. Still feel sorry for his kids. I wonder if the idiot got shots when he was a kid.

I like the concept, surprised he actually stuck with it. Would be sick to see someone like GT film a ledge part

Joslins not giving a fuck style is refreshing

Finally, a bigspin Bennett grind! Been waiting to see that one for a while.
The picky asshole in me now wants to see it on a downward sloping obstacle.

I love how wide his trick selection is; when was the last time you saw a fakie heelfip switch back tail.....back to fakie and in a line . I’ve seen the nollie version plenty but this bad boy, nope. Nice to see some unusual tricks. Like that fucking fantastic line that begins with a switch frontside boardslide on a long ass ledge. I’m not sure “creative” is the right word, more like diverse.
Fuck, that might actually be the same line  talking about. Shouldn’t have smoked a bone while watching this. Damm.
I'm going to argue that Placebo owes their entire career to a Canadian dude's skate video part. Appleyard should be getting royalties for this shit.

Like Daewon said: if skateboarding is a ten story building, Rodney is on eleventh floor.

I dug that too. What I liked even more was how he was clearly unsatisfied with the way he did it. He got stuck on the slide, came out immediately, and gave a dejected skyward look. It's great because you immediately know how hard it was for him to do. Struggling for that rare ledge trick.
Before you say the music sucked, have you considered shutting the fuck up?

Totally don't get the style comments. He's got so much flavor & attitude in whatever he does. Most ledge skating these days is pretty robotic & samey. Loved this.

It is hard to remember what else you've just seen after having balls slapping you on the chin.
Now, we used to say we put on our tights to put on the world. So I don't think it tarnishes the image at all.

Franky Villani does them all the time and has done them on some hubbas. He did a big spin Bennet 180 out down a decent sized hubba back in the day at a damn am contest. Wild stuff:

Chris joslin "manzoori, how many clips do I need"?

Manzoori "for a ledge part, probably about 60"

Joslin "wanna meet up this week and just finish it of"?

Manzoori "sure, but I'm only in town for two days"

Joslin "perfect! We'll do a throwaway part too"!

This was dope. More fun than his Album part.

If Joslin has another part up his sleeve for release in early November, that will probably sew up SOTY for him. Although Real Street doesn't count towards SOTY, and this Unstoppable part wasn't released through Thrasher either, so maybe not.
Warm Up Zone. Let's watch some skateboarding videos.

You’re right, that fact doesn’t make it good; the tricks in the line and the difficulty of that trick combined with the skater doing the trick makes it “good”.
