DSM Wood Shop - Good or bad for skateboarding? [Serious]

Rodney Mullen goes behind the magic of DSM Wood Shop and Dwindle's manufacturing process. Is this actually innovative for skateboarding or is it just cheap production hidden behind clever marketing jargon?

hella cheap production. why do you think they need all these carbon inserts and gimmicks that almost and all their brands use. the reason they have so much money for new brands and what not is because their profit margin is so high since all of their decks and price point completes are from china. companies that use wood from mexico are the same classic ingredients. wood and glue.

That video is ancient.

DSM makes great decks, extremely consistent (compared to PSshitx); the Resin7s are fantastic.

Best boards from China period. It's nice that they aren't so prone to warping as well.
