How do Tensor trucks affect wheelbase
« on: October 15, 2018, 07:45:54 PM »
I've read all about how Indys shorten wheelbase and Ventures Lengthen the wheelbase, but what I have are Tensors 6.0 and my next deck is going to be either a Real 8.43" with a 14.75" wheelbase or a Habitat 8.5" with a 14.25" wheelbase which would be better with Tensors? like if the Tensors lengthen the wheelbase I'll go with the habitat if it shortens it I'll go with the Real. How do I know how the trucks affect the wheelbase? what should I measure ,etc...

There was a chart somewhere in the truck thread where it showed where a bunch of trucks showing the axle would fall.

I find them pretty good with Bones soft bushings. The only bad Tensors were the ones that came out with the slider thing that fell off after a couple of days skating other that those Tensors are pretty good.

I don’t think Aces have ever been 55 mm tall even though that’s been listed as their height in some places. Ace themselves state:
“Truck height: 2.125" (52mm) Classic”

why don't you just measure your current wheelbase, throw the tensors on, and see how much it changes. nevermind that'd take like 5 minutes who got time for that.
