video is all over the place but i liked it.

editing and transitions into the sections kept the pacing fast and enjoyed that a lot.

intro reminded me of the intros of the skate games.

seems like a return to form of keeping the filming simple with less steadicams and other weird gimmicks. keeping it basic.

chocolate section came and went with weird choice of clips

i feel like griffin gass will be on different teams for everything in the next year. great part. that ollie at 20:54 is absolutely mental.

Griffin was ballin, but idk something about him just makes me not remember him. Like he’s fucking amazing, but Idk he’s just not like someone I give a fuck watching for some reason. Prolly the best skateboarder as of late I’ve seen that fits that description for me. Fucking sucks because girl is made on some of the most memorable dudes in history. Simon feels the same way to me as well.

Manchild was the best thing in the flare, and this video shows just how awesome he is again. Niels was the delight for the whole thing for me, I enjoyed his part a thousand times more then griffin. Niels is the most unique skater out of the new four dudes by a longshot. Crail needs unique skaters, and not just crazy good skaters.

Lastly idk what it is, but Malto is aging like fine wine. I fucking could not stand him for so long, but since his injury his skating has become much more enjoyable to watch for whatever reason.

All in All the video was good. It’s sad how crail videos aren’t the best videos of the years they come out anymore. I mean shit u took this video and compared it to what came out this year, and it doesn’t even crack top 5. Element, cons, quasi, foundation, Vans were all at the same level or better then this video. They just can’t compete like they used to.

While I appreciate the tongue in cheek nature of this joke, it’s not just one day of work. He also does those Berries appearances / hosting things too I guess. I’d say that that coupled with the NineFlub back-end organisational things add up to a good 2.5 full days a week for Crob.

Most of the best skaters I know who film at least somewhat regularly work 40+ hours a week.

I think the main challenge for Crailtap now is whether their former glory will hang over their head forever, or if they will be able to create a strong enough identity with the new team.

Overall a bit toned down crail offering editing wise.. Yet at the same time a bit all over the place.. Some cuts were too quick and music selection was off point with a few exceptions..

mellow video, 25 mins, niels & griffin bookend it (no rickk unfortunately!). niels bloopers to open, skates to talking heads. part is heavier than expected tbh, dude is starting to win me over. then ya intro skit

brophy skates to sly & the family stone, a few tricks (some older) then biebel cameo; right into a super quick chocolate section to a dancehall track, no c-rob or chico tho (weirdly ancient raven clip too). malto skates to sharon jones w/ cameos from jeron & carroll; segues into that mikemo/mandible skit. mcrank next, not really a part, mostly chill pacific nw/skatepark/tour footy plus a cameo from breana(!)

tyler & simon skate to beastie boys, seemed short & sweet (maybe b/c they share a part); manchild is good at skateboarding, seems definitive part still to come too (a good thing), most of simon's clips are older (guess injury kept him out of filming a lot past year). still think simon one to watch. ps ck1 cameo skating a bowl in vans. griffin/mandible claw skit like silhouette said is classic crailtap, then ya he skates to ghostface. best part in the vid like everyone been saying
