This video was fun and had progressive skating, that is what you all say girl was/is about.

I also liked the chocolate section to the reggae, all the music was good. In fact the edit was surprising at parts and also had a great flow.

Manchild puts out another sick part for the crail crew, Niels had a beautiful opener, Gass had scream at your screen speed.

I could watch McCrank skate tranny all day, maltos trick selection and smoothness is a delight.

For me this is the kinda pieces that has high watchability, great length, feel good.

Don’t really get the Brophy hate, dude skates with manly authority.  I get that he’s kind of a dork on Instagram, but he’s good.
Tyler Pacheco is really good, as is the last kid.
Watching how these new dudes skate makes me feel like Wes Kremer’s last decade of output has been really influential, and that’s a good thing.

Had the vibes of pre Ty/Yeah Right Crail vids.

They kept the pace and momentum of the vid well.
Nice 30 minute length.
Songs were pretty on point and the filming was great.
Mostly fisheye footage but as someone mentioned noone was cut off.
Minimal slow-mo kept the momentum going in my opinion.

I watched twice last night after going to a premiere on Friday.

Everyone bitches that Crail need to stay relevant and then when they release a vid with full parts from all the young kids killing it you all bitch that you dont get full parts from guys in their 40's whos prime passed over a decade ago.

Only disappointing thing for me was Brophys part.
Wasnt horrible but I feel like he needed to prove he deserved a spot on Girl besides just being Carrolls boy and he didnt come near that.

reminds me when videos used to "introduce" a heavy new rider by giving them first part, and that energy would set the tone for the video, but not end it – if that makes sense. woulda been perfect to kick off a future classic (niels killed it tho)

great skating, filming solid, skits were cool. rye & john did a good job, def re-watchable too (which might be the most important thing) – just missing a bit of the meza/spike/weincheque touch. given how minimized the vets were seems like they've finally cleared the deck, also means a new era of video too (i liked the titles & that quick IG trailer w/the 8-bit tune fwiw). it's a fine first step

hard to live up to expectations, and they might need to add a marquee name or two to keep up brand status as a top 5 company (eg debobby/austyn/lopez), but they can build around this squad/style of video going forward

i agree. i went from being really down on crail to optimistic from this video. ive always disliked manchild for silly reasons but ive really come around on him and think he actually a big part of their potential turn around since out of everyone he really seems the most genuine which has really been a problem with this camp the last decade.

The new kids are legit, but Crailtap is in a position where nothing they put out again will ever be as impactful as the stuff they put out before. It was a good video, with some good stuff and I'm glad it didn't have the crazy cameras/angles or 4 years of hype attached. But, if you take this style of editing and song selection, and give it Pretty Sweet's footage, Pretty Sweet would be considered a classic. No video they can make will live up to the legacy of Goldfish, Paco, Mouse, Chocolate Tour and Yeah Right.

It's a good video, I'll probably re-watch it, but Crail video's used to be the gold standard and the video's I'd have on repeat. This probably won't be my favorite full-length or in my top 5 from the last 2 years (Krooked, Palace, Quasi and Polar's videos have more staying power for me).

Weird to have a girl vid without Koston and MJ but I liked the use of I Can Change by LCD Soundsystem in the credits. Subtle hint that things have definitely changed.

Brophy is really lucky to have had a career in skating. Plenty of others who are much more deserving.
