I went into this not wanting to like it/him.
I loved it. He’s fun to listen to and his stories about Lakai and Rob Welsh and everything were just great.
Honestly I am impressed with him and while I’m not a huge fan of his editing style, this made me like him as a person. He got/gets a lot of opportunities and it must be because of his positive attitude and approach. Who else would hire somebody who doesn’t know how to film OR edit to make a video? Some serious luck, determination, and PMA. Good for him.
It makes sense that he was learning as he went, I was glad to hear that and that he was honest about his journey (“I only recently learned my settings”) The TWS videos were a serious drop off from J Hernandez to him, so it makes sense that everything he put out was so amateur- because it was his sophomore effort.
Overall, it was nice to hear his stories and I’m glad he’s seen so much success, and this is from a guy that used to call him Chris “Raype” after what he did to TWS series.
Thanks for a great show guys!
