Rodrigo Gerdal = Rodrigo Petersen
In Brazil he’s mostly known as Gerdal, his nickname.

This guy Melonio has the ugliest freakin’ style.
Looks like he got super good after only skating 6 months or something.

He may have the most unintentionally funny style in skating. I'm not exaggerating. His bails were hilarious.

Something is very off about that Melonio kid's skating
[close]

Give him a break, he was named after Trump's wife.

Plus he has a first name that's not actually a first name:

That was a good game :) I like it when they don't go for acrobatic tricks, but just proper ledge skating!

...I am glad it wasn't a boring match (which I feared, when I saw it was a shorter game)

How are you able to front blunt first try, but still look so unstable on your board all the time.

guy could by like 45 or something.

i was impressed by his ability to pull some of that shit off.

looked like he would have boned a front nose though by the looks of that back 180 nose grind attempt.

The "older guy" had some sick clips in the Brazil 411 issue, and has a shared part with Rodrigo Tx on YouTube. Probably has other footage too.

Brazil's ledge skating answer to Javi Mendizabal? Dude's bails looked more stylish than the other guy's makes, and he wasn't even trying to be stylish. Awesome.

He was in the first Nike video NBTT. I was surprised to see his name pop up again here, it's cool all the top Brazilians are in this series. He does look a bit weathered but it happens to everyone.

If you guys are talking about Fabio Cristiano as "the older guy", you should get know more about him. He's a legend! One of the most respected skaters in Brazil since the 90s. When there was no big names such as Luan and Felipe on international media, Fabio was pretty much like a Brazilian Koston, inspiring every kid that started skating 15-20 years ago.
He's not competing in Slides & Grinds 3 for what he can do now, but mostly by what he has built across his carreer. Respect the OGs!

The lipeslide no comply looked oddly amazing!
