I haven't skated since November due to all the snow here but it was finally decent enough outside today, tried boardsliding a hubba today but instead ate shit for not leaning forward enough.

For a bit I contemplated trying it again but ultimately decided to just settle for and enjoy low impact skating from now on, I don't wanna tear my ACL again and then not be able to skate period.

That hurricane was terror. For a while it looked like you were hitting your spine on the corner of the metal. But I know the feeling, I recently tore a ligament that put me off skating for a good month.

I could skate that hubba like 15 years ago, just wanted to try it again but I guess some things are just better left in the past haha.

I feel like if I lean forward I can land it, but it's such a gamble for one single trick if I get fucked up. I'm stoked I actually tried it, but I'm also glad I knew to step away.

Now that I had done Blunt shuv and blunt 3 shuv fakie, I figured blunt bigspin was the next one to do and it ended up being easy, it took me like 10-15 minutes.
Also did switch front blunt, that one made me happier/more excited than the blunt bigspin.

I’m a fat Siamese cat.

yes, very dope! that redbrick spot looks like a lot of fun, even though it also looks hard to skate and has cobblestone on the run up.

Nothing crazy...just having some fun. 2nd day skating after healing up from a 55 day Hernia surgery/recovery time. Trying to get back in the groove.

Thanks pals. :)
I swear, these red bricks are way steeper than they look and really rough ground there. I cut my shin open there back in the day. These edges are sharp. But it looks hella sick. But yeah, the usual East-German crust.

Unfortunately i dont. My neighbor built it for his scooter son and then he stop scooting so he just gave it to me. I added the Medal Lip at the bottom and the castor wheels to move it around. For a free ramp, its pretty fun though.

Clean style. I wish I could hold a manny like that.

thanks, that manny pad is usually slippery as well because kids just wax the hell out of it constantly.

Dope! I discovered a low metal clad curbspot yesterday and your clip gives me some inspiration on what to try on it. My bag of curbtricks is appallingly shallow...

Thanks man! It’s pretty rural where I live so there’s not been much scope for curb shred - I mainly skate small mini ramps but this car park just opened and we’ve waxed it up a treat.

Really fun learning new things. It’s one of the things I’ve loved most about skating over the years!

Couple more (easy) bits of inspiration for you....

learned a new slappy today. Finally getting the hang of slappies enough to try different variations of them. Not the cleanest, but it was fun to do.

That fakie bigflip was so sick man.
And I liked your 5-0 pop out. What is the secret for them?

Exactly one year ago I dusted off my skateboard after a hiatus of 20 years. Time to celebrate my one year progress with a little Winter part.

I couldn’t tell you, it’s something I only recently started doing out of necessity. I too wanted to start hitting the same ledge twice at my local, so just started forcing my myself out of grinds
