Last Tuesday I was trying fakie big spin pivot shuv but it was after I had already been skating for 3 hours.
I ended up getting exhausted and decided to just go with axel stall instead of pivot. I took a couple hard slams because my legs were dust.
So I did it with axel stall and went back to try the pivot on Friday. Warmed up for about 15 min and then landed it within 6 minutes of trying. Landed it on the 11th try.

Before I became jaded and bitter, I used to ride a 9in shaped deck. Now that I ride a popsicle I barely flip my board but ledge/manny skating has become more fun since.

I've completely lost confidence in my frontside grind tricks but these backside ones are feeling nice.

Also, kudos to all you skating actual street. Been skating the local basketball court and this parking lot so long that I am itching to skate actual spots again.

This thread always gets me hyped too. I think I kinda understand the foot positioning and body gesture for front noseslides due to your clip. Gotta try that. Cheers

I tried this for two days.
The first day after 3 hours I landed two but didn’t like them.
So I went back the next day but I was skating alone and I was just like pacing around looking at the curb for a long time because I was pretty intimidated. The second day it took two hours before I felt like I was getting close again.
Landed it twice around the 2.5-3 hour mark.
