i used to skate FDR all the time. the key is pumping slower cause the walls are so big. idk if u need a whole video to explain that tho
Hmm interesting. Definitely the hardest part to figure out is maintaining speed throughout. Thanks for the tip man!
The key is pumping everything. Every roller, every transition - pump up and down. Go over edge of pyramid? Pump that. It’s not as bad as Washington Street, which requires you to have decent corner pumping skills as well.
I’m not really comfortable with it anymore but you definitely have to get used to carrying more speed than you do elsewhere and/or ride bigger wheels.
