I posted this in the Post Footy thread a while ago, just a little footage from the summer.

I once had this grandiose idea of making a full clip about the experience of going out to the park - sunshine, dog, beers, etc.  Unfortunately, this is all I have.  Maybe one of these days I'll be able to finish it.  What I do know is that editing is really fucking fun.

I've never been very good and I think there's three actual tricks in this and they're all ollies.  Sorry.

I love bringing her with me.  When I show up without her the kids always ask "dude, where's your dog"?

I have no idea how she deals with the noise of the park.  Most dogs hate things that roll, but it's almost like she can't be bothered.  She loves to hang out with people that come by and watch and sometimes takes over on peoples bags / sweatshirts that leave them on the benches.

When I first started bringing her along, I used to put her outside on the fence surrounding the park on tie down.  There's an area of trees which is perfectly shaded in the summer.  Unfortunately, there are a lot of sketchy fuckers that walk by... some with dogs and some without.  Since she's pretty friendly to anyone, I'm worried about her going up to the wrong dog / person and getting hurt or stolen.

So after a while I just moved her inside the park without the tie down.  She has a mat, a couple of bowls - one with water the other with some food or cookies,  couple of toys... it's a pretty rad deal.  I open the car door when we get there, she sniffs around, then runs directly to her little area and waits for my slow ass to get her shit all set-up.

This was her set-up last summer.  I stopped bringing the crate once it got cooler.

By the way, how's Pesto?  All better now?

My roommate's dog loves the sound of skateboards. He knows when he hears one that he can run as fast as he wants next to it. There is a dog at the park where we take him that is his best friend. We'll skate by it without our dog and that dog gets really excited and runs up to us looking for our dog. Pavlov proved his theory using dogs.
Are you a kook? If you would say this, the answer is “YES”
I quit skating for a time due to piling out

I'm no tree hugging vegiterian but if I saw someone smack a dog in the head with his trucks it would definitely bring out the worst in me.

I got kicked out of that spot before even setting my skateboard down while we took a trip to the Sayreville park!

So bummed, it looked so good.  What's the crazy claim about someone getting really fucked up at that spot or something?

its a pretty dope spot.  when i went that time, there were all these propane tanks in front of the wall where the bank is steeper, so i had to work on hittin the wall from the mellower bank, not as fun.  but that time, i skated there for a solid hour and a half, no problem.  its kinda off and on, sometimes you get kicked out, sometimes not.  didn't hear about anyone getting fucked up though.  fun little ditch type banks waxed up right there too.
I hope one day Steve Austin is walking the street, I throw him a beer, and he stunners you.
