I'm sure it's great if you're an emo teenager or something, but the name of the band is Panda Bear, c'mon. I just tried a few of their songs on youtube and all of them were worse than the one in this part.

I have no issue with music I don't like being in a part, as long as it fits or doesn't distract from the skating. That Animal Collective song in JJ's Mindfield part is a good example - it works, but I would never listen to that band. THIS song, however, has some crazy obnoxious noise the whole time that sounds worse than nails on a chalkboard. They should have just axed that one sound and it would be much more listenable.

Did you just coincidentally pick that song as an example? Because Panda Bear is in Animal Collective haha. Their music can be pretty abrasive, I'll give you that. I think it worked in this video too though.

Who cares. Pharrell is in the Neptunes and they make crazy good beats but that mean that I can’t also think a solo Pharrell song like happy doesn’t suck just because he’s also in a group I like.

trick of the trade, cover a rough chunky ledge with bondo and it will grind really good for a short time but it will chip away after awhile

Silas is amazing. Nice to see the sect continuing the animal collective theme.
I have a lot of their albums, friends seem to love them or hate them.

I think you really have to see them live because their sound engineering is top notch.

silas is an amazing skater and ive never not liked his footage.

Music wasnt my cup of tea but I dont think it was too bad either, I think it matched the part well.

Did anybody foresee 5 solid minutes of Silas ripping for this 3rd part of the 1st Episode (man, they should've just named this video Control Room, broken it into parts, and then named the next series something else).

It is nice to have Alien and Habitat back together.
Combined they are way, way better than each team would be on their own.

Adidas skaters seem to put out so much footage compared to nike, especially the older guys, people get nike money and put out a clip a year

I couldn't stand the song either, but when editing, the music should be a bit louder than the skating. Good editors will also track the volume during each clip, so that it's a bit louder during the actual trick than the roll up/roll away/pushing.
