Im debating whether to leave the very top holes unlaced or to lace all the way to the top.

struggle w/ this because if i tie them lower i can rotate my ankle enough to skate comfortable, but i get heel slip. if i tie them up i feel to constrained. sucks cause i love skating dunks and that ankle protection is super nice to have

Im skating dunk hi’s right now and i have em laced up until the last two lace holes. I feel it gives the perfect amount of stability while still giving my ankles some room and keeps the side panels from flopping cus i hate that look.

Well I have two different colour laces, one pink and one black, intricately woven together to resemble a checkerboard pattern. I only lace up to the 5th eyelet of course, but i keep the velcro strap snug. Then I'm ready to carve my big ol' 35 incher down the street.

Skating, Lace them up to the hole in-between the top 2 and the bottom row, skip that one and do the first one on the top 2. not skating laced up to the hole before the top 2

this is the proper way in which to wear dunks, but your wings could be a little more flappier

I remember once probably 10 years ago I was wearing dunk hi's with the wings unlaced and some scene girls I walked by said my shoes looked stupid as fuck just loud enough so that I could hear it. That shit made me way more self-concious than it probably should have.

I take my dunks to journeys and have the girl lace them in straight bars. Same way she did them for me 20 years ago on several pair of etnies.
