i just put sika over the chunks, smoothed it out, then bricked it a bit and it works fine. i am gonna put some more on and then just spray more lacquer overtop.

I’ve been looking at houses for sale in Chico and found this gem in the process:

The yellow line in front of the cars is about 100’ of double sided goodness with manny pad/island sidewalks/gap as well. Didn’t have my board but next time I sure as hell will!

Just found a new double sided near the house. It's in the city hall complex so it's basically early morning weekend spot only, but the slide is nice.

Been working on a self filmed curb only part and dropped it today for my 33rd birthday. Nothing that will change the world but it was a fun little project to work on over the weekends the past 5 months. Hopefully it makes everyone want to go skate some curbs at least.

This was great!

I would love to have a garage or two like that.

Good stuff and happy born day. Not happy that it’s 105* with no shade, so I’m stuck on slap wanting to slaps some curbs.

Thanks man! Appreciate it. Yeah i'm very lucky to have a lit up garage spot to skate at night and rainy nights. It helps alot since i have 2 kids and i mainly only skate late at night or early mornings for the most part.

I know I’ve posted it before but did some maintenance since it’s been to hot to skate this.

2 wet coats on the edge, 24hrs to dry, super light waxing and I’m getting 18’ or better on 3 pushes. I love this curb.

Screencap from a two piece I filmed earlier on my phone. This is where I learned how to slappy, the curb is the perfect height for practicing them. Curbs were recently repainted, but the ground is awful. There's so many nice curbs in San Jose I'll try and do my rounds and snap pics for this thread

I really appreciate the kind words! Means alot. Glad it got you hyped and feel free to try to steal and use any of my combos that you may want to. I was very hyped on how much i stacked that i just used all of it instead of trying to just cut it to a 2 minute video

Just found a new double sided near the house. It's in the city hall complex so it's basically early morning weekend spot only, but the slide is nice.
That is 2 non double sided curbs, not a double sided curb.

Yeah you’re not wrong. The planter is dug out on the red side so it can be bordslid/combo’d but it is not, technically, a double sided curb. Thanks for keeping everyone honest

Fuck I miss this spot, used to live right in front of it, its a curved curb on a dead end street. It was most perfect before someone added the lil ramps.
[close]

oh hey, i live near that. the bigger lil ramp doesn't bother me but the lil lil ramp irks the hell out of me

Small world I guess. I used to live right by here at 13th and Alberta.

As long as the ends are skated, I’d just call it fun.

Shade, curb, close by, and good skating. Adds up to good stuff.

Just finished up a diy curb I can plop down in parking lots or wherever.
Picture right out of the mold before smoothing it out.

Rub bricked the shit out of it and applied bondo to fill in uneven spots

Sanded that all down and rounded off the corners a bit.

Finished product after painting and lacquering.  Plus a little artwork from my daughter.
It is around 4.5" tall and just shy of 5' long.

Believe me there was trial and error. This is the first one I’ve made start to finish on my own but I had help on the last one from my neighbor who is a general contractor.  I too would be considered a desk jockey.

That’s rad. Just be aware they do move on you some. I’ve got an 8”x8’er and it’ll wander off a little bit. Board slides not so much, or Ollie into. Slaps definitely.

Oh yeah it does.  I used a couple 2x4s to brace it against the permanent curb behind it in the last few photos when I was working on slappies this morning.
