Gotta have them for the exact wheel size and shape you're using. Forget even slightly worn wheels. Still be scared as fuck about them coming off while bombing a hill etc. Not gonna work.

I'd swoop immediately if they are able to address issues like the shape and size of your street wheels and the fact that your street wheels are bound to shrink. Originally was concerned that you couldn't slide on these wheels like some better cruiser wheels unless these are a very good formula, but if you're cruising and really need to bomb a big hill and powerslide, you can just take them off.

The only valid one of those concerns is the wheelbite. No shit cruiser wheels are going to be bigger and softer than normal wheels. Enjoy swapping out wheels potentially multiple times a day, especially you've got worn axles/nuts.

Seriously, what if your street wheels wear down AT ALL. How am I supposed to trust the lateral stability of this smooshy wheel condom that is easy enough to take off with your hand? I can't see them staying on that well either....might be a good idea so you don't need a filmer set up but for cruising you want to powerslide....

I would still keep my real cruiser for if I’m just going to the store and have no intention of doing tricks. But I’m old and injured and skating around NYC often wastes a lot of precious energy before even getting to the spot. Much less energy wasted when I’m on the cruiser so I would love these if they work.

I went home to Boston and skated borrowing my parents car… I forgot what it’s like to skate with a car, was kind of amazing. Just pull up to the spot, park, skate fresh as a daisy. Get kicked out, drive to the next one.

These would be sick for casual use like filming and cruising between spots without the need to carry an other board setup. I wouldn't trust them with life threatening shit like bombing big hills. I wonder how they're gonna work when the main wheel starts wearing down and these attachments don't fit snug anymore?

I'll definitely buy a set if/ when they're for sale though

i'd rather just carry a set of cruiser wheels with bearings in them and swap them whenever i want to (well i actually used to do that but it felt kinda unnecessary), would be a lot safer
