I'm not a fan of revive but I wouldn't call them leeches. They are in their own lane putting out content daily. It's obvious they are not even close to what we consider 'pro level' (but bruh skating can't even be judged) but it is also obvious some of those dude are workhorses who get kids hyped to skate.

Steezus for sure; at least some of these other people serve some sort of purpose (Neckface does art for baker, Jonah Hill is a director, Gary Roger hosts skateline etc) but I have no clue what purpose Steezus serves, he just knows people and because of that gets camera time here and there on the berrics or on that Nine Club b-show.

We get to see a whole different side of our favorite skaters and it is also documenting skate history in a new way. I have mixed feelings about Phelps. Although the man doesn't seem to do anything he is kind of a breath of fresh air in some way. He may be a dick but at least he is genuine. I feel like there will be a small hole in the industry when he is gone.

Phelps is head editor of thrasher, though I've heard that burnett does all the editor work now and phelps is pretty much just a figurehead for thrasher now at this point, but how true that is I'm not sure

He serves no purpose, blatantly acts a fool every chance he gets, and is then given sympathy every time he gets called out. He is skateboarding, but more like the upper class friend of a friend who immediately picks fights with the security guards, screams at cars passing by, and generally causes a whole bummer of a scene.

I had the chance to have a real conversation with him at Tampa last year. He is a truly odd dude but you can tell that he loves skateboarding more than just about anything. He is also not afraid to say exactly what he thinks which I think can be a good quality to an extent.
