Shoulder pops out every now n again (Goin on since 2001).

Busted both my ankles more than a few times each but the right one looks like a damn tree trunk how thick it is.

Planter Fasciitis (That took me awhile to figure out the shoes/insoles I should buy).

In my 30's I've broken many little bones in the hand/wrist/finger areas. (Not the most painful but if u fall on em again you're gonna take longer to heal.

Get sick alot too lately (Pretty sure I need a better diet)

Alcoholism

Also, was rolling down the street exactly a week ago, hit a pebble, and landed weird on my back ankle where it swelled up n turned black and blue. Had to take a couple days from work, but can at least walk n do my job n not worry about goin on disability . Probably not doin a 360 flip or anything like that for about 4 to 6 weeks judging from the pain... all from a god damn rock gettin from point A to B, never thought that would ever happen.

patella tendinitis. shit is the worst, had it for the better portion of 2 and a half years now. I’m 20 and it’s the worst physical pain I’ve ever dealt with. If you’ve had it you understand

Low blood sugar, not a real injury but diabetes is something that changed my way of skating.
i have to be careful.

I’ll let you check the symptoms of low blood sugar here : https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypoglycemia
They are not very skateboarding-compatible

One time i skated with low blood sugar, took a bad slam and sprained my ankle badly.

Auto-immune diseases suck but hey at least i’m alive haha

1, golf ball size bone spur in each ankle @ impingement. One in my right ankle broke into pieces after trying an ollie into a backside wallride, it's fine now ( two surgeries later ). Now the one in my left ankle broke, and I have some bone fragments in my nerve canal and some near my tendons. Hopefully will be getting surgery soon. I tell you boys this shit is a bitch.

Did an Ollie while walking my dog and my ball sack slapped hard into my own thigh. Still got a stomach ache.

I try not to skate through injuries that are from the waist down, I've dislocated my right elbow twice and both times skated through them with slings on, but with common sense of what I could and couldn't do.

These days however I have to skate through lupus flares.

Felt a pop in my knee when I was snowboarding the other day, resting on it now and waiting to hear from the doctor

My knee puffed up about 3 months ago and I found out I had a torn meniscus from who knows how long ago but for quite some time. Going to the gym and doing the bike thing plus foam roller and exercises. Christmas break somehow caused another injury to the same knee that’s unrelated so now working on that. Haven’t touched a board since November and it’s sucks.

I've dislocated my shoulder 7-10 times now, mostly in the last year, I've got a partially torn meniscus that developed a bakers cyst and that sucked but i think I've got both under control. I'm in the gym for almost an extra hour every day doing PT work though which is kindof a bummer but definitely worth it.

Broke my 5th metatarsal wallieing a small folding sign late November, and had a ski instructor course 3 weeks after.
The doc didn’t give me any leeway, so I considered my options, and since I already paid $500 for the course, I cut the cast off and crammed the foot into a ski boot and did the course.

Passed the course (barely), and got an z-ray right after to see if the bone was still healing. Luckily it was.

Been teaching skiing and snowboarding full-time since, went back for an x-ray yesterday and the doc gave me the ok to go skate again, so I did.

My flick was pretty stiff (and I was scared shitless of ollieing up a tiny curb, ha ha) but it was nice to roll around again
I’m trying to be every mom’s favorite skater’-&&
