You ever skate lakewood? If so, there's a decent chance we've crossed paths. I'm up there a few times a week.

I do. Pretty sure I've seen you there and Benbrook? The guy with the broom and oatmeal rowans? I'll try to be better about introducing myself next time. Mini ramp offer extended of course! Yesterday was my last day of work until January, lots of skating between now and then.

Yep, that's me. We live in that neighborhood next to Benbrook, so I'm cruising around those 2 pretty steady. We should catch a sesh. I'm in the same boat, work wise. Already prepped my kid that we're gonna be spending alot of time at the park. Hahaha. I'll shoot you a pm.

Downtown has a lot of fun spots to hit after dark but all parks close down at 10.

what cities on the outskirts would any locals recommend as being nice places to live? i was looking at getting a house down there but, inner city is a bit out of budget and, i would prefer something that isnít right in the city anyways. houses on the southern outskirts (buda/kyle) area are affordable. i know thatís kind of a boring area but, i donít mind. itís halfway between austin and san marcos (20 minsish to both) and i see thereís a skatepark there as well. is it an area that you think is worth purchasing a home and if not, where else would be?

Cedar park/Leander/Pflugerville/Round Rock/Hutto are all not too far up north and have an excellent selection of parks

So...how's the new Mueller park?

Iím in town for a day and I just did a drive by. Park looks interesting, the actual skate area looks kind of small and sort of street league like. I could only really see a pretty big stair set with a full size handrail and some banks.  Thereís also a HUGE cement pump track as well. Also, the ledges around the perimeter are skate stopped which is obviously dumb. Itís still fully under construction so it may be a while before itís open.
Not everyone is made for 666' fakie to fakie sliders! My godt it's going to be a blood bath on these streets.

So...how's the new Mueller park?

The street section is way too small for how many people that will be there when it opens. Other than that the parks fun. Only one with a round flat bar.  I understand cities like the spectacle of a pump track but you can only fit two people on it at a time. I say get there before it opens
