Today I learned that it’s all about the tricks you don’t do.

Let that sink in for a bit.
When nothing in society deserves respect, we should fashion for ourselves in solitude new silent loyalties.

Learned pop shove it late flip, is easy af. You just have to have a good timing with the flip.

I suck at kickflips tho, i need to feel too much in the mood to land those properly.
What tips do you give? I saw a yt vid of some strange dudes doing em, and I think it would be a fun trick to learn.
Gonna go down to the Bronx and hang out with the gonx

I just realized that skating with people that slam a lot will probably make you less afraid and give more room to progress.

today i realize i'm that guy who slams a lot. i hope my lack of skill is making people less afraid like you say
I started getting a lot better when I went back to college and started taking a lot of math classes when I was 31.

I figured out how to figure things out better, if that makes sense.

I realize it's not me you were asking, but maybe I can also provide help with those. Are you trying them frontside or backside? Frontside is like a mobbed the fuck out (well, down) varial heel, you kick straight down instead of out after waiting a little bit for the front shove to come around. Backside is trickier to understand the timing of but I think looks better. Pop a good pop shove-it and just as you prepare for the catch, you give the concave a gentle tap with your big toe around the front bolts. Don't extend your leg or you'll land with one foot under the board. Please don't do them the shitty ass casper flip way (or the even worse mobbed inward heelflip way), or with a late varial flip (which is arguably easier but looks like crap). Watch Ocean Howell for reference.

Bs roll ins.  Weird i never tried them b4.  They seem more satisfying but less safe.  I relearnt those front boards on a higher ledges to fakie off the end where you pivot the 90° on ur front wheels.

Got my first front noseblunt on a ledge second try, then it took an hour to do another one...

Not sure if I'll be able to get them on lock, but felt so good to just commit to it

That would depend on whether youd find the actual facts interesting or if you were to try ur hand at manufacturing wheels i suppose.

Naw I meant like that I never really gave a second thought on wheels but then i learned that urethane is naturally brown (really just depends sometimes its lighter sometimes its clearer). But yeah i find it interesting that I have never known about that

Telling someone they push mongo is not ok. It’s politically incorrect and I’m being intolerant. So

They now have earned the nickname of “pushes Down syndrome” “Robert Downy jr” or “the downs” for short.

Today I learned that skateboarding is something that takes some time. Some energy. And a whole lot of pain. I also learned that skateboarding is what ever you make it. Shalom and goodnight.

Really have to stay over top of those or you're asking for it. Part of the reason I don't travel that road often

I’m finally overcoming a lifelong battle with tre flips, and landing them isn’t that satisfying? I don’t think I even like this trick.

Lol I think I was just in a bad mood/hungover yesterday. Feeling much more positive about life and tre flips today.

Shoutout to you guys in the “basic ass tricks” thread. Turning my upper body frontside was definitely one of the problems holding them back.
