Searched and couldn't find a topic on it, but it's a genre related to shoegaze just not as heavy, for those who don't know. Here's some stuff I've stumbled upon lately

Music starts at :20 on this one

Yes! Huge fan. Pet Grief is my favorite album of theirs followed by Clinging to a Scheme.

Both of this tracks are amazing, maybe my favorite contemporary band. I love all their stuff but I think the singles collection, Passive Aggressive, is my favorite.

I was lucky enough to see them live about two years ago and they did not disappoint.

Little more well known, but I’m a massive fan of Sparklehorse, and Mark Linkous’s lyrics. Shame he’s no longer amongst us.

On another note. Flotation Toy Warning - Bluffer’s Guide to the Flight Deck is one of my favorite records ever.

Yes Passive Aggressive is a good album and that's awesome you've seen them live. I hope to do the same when I get the chance.

Not really trying to self promote but I Love sharing music. I play in this band and think it could be up your alley. If you're on the east coast we are touring with delta sleep next month.

Saw a copy of this when I was at a record store on Saturday and it reminded me that I have a copy and need to listen to it more.

A lot of modern bands just copy what these guys were doing 30+ years earlier. If you’re unfamiliar, definitely give it a listen
