I've already had two wins so far, the game is really really good. I usually hate BR games I never liked fortnite. You can't even buy anything in the game to give you an advantage, what little you can buy is purely cosmetic.

its pretty good imo. sucks that two characters are locked behind paywall, even though you can unlock them within a few days of play for free.

teammate respawn mechanic, ping communication systems and loot/inventory management are all big improvements to any other br title out and the game runs pretty well and relatively bug free minus the typical online shooter problems like getting kicked out of the lobby from time to time. i feel like origin does shit to my pc tho...

Definitely recommend downloading and trying this if people haven’t yet, free to play - feels like fortnite, blackout, mw2 and blackout all mixed into one. Ping system is a great feature!

i generally hate BR games but this one is is a blast.  Really well done.  Great Mechanics.  So far ZERO pay to win aspect. it looks like they are taking the Rainbow Six Siege Route and making the micro transactions cosmetics (that you can get anyways) and instantly unlocking new heros (so far it takes about 20ish levels to unlock additional heroes).  it may not be the best game ever but its been nice to break up cities skylines with and will prob hold me over until outer world comes out.

Pathfinder is the best hero.

You 100% do not need to spend money on Apex to win or have fun. You can unlock all the characters just by playing. I had around 15 wins before I bought to Battle Pass today.

You can also earn enough Apex Coins by getting to level 97 in the Pass to buy Season 2’s Pass also.

I dunno, I bought it. I have played it a lot and plan on continuing to, so worth it for me.
