When I was in elementary school, mid 80s, the school put on a play for black history month. For whatever reason they chose me to play George Washington Carver and the plan was to put me in black face. I was like 6 and was not part of the discussion. I objected and they were like nah you're wearing blackface, so you know what I did? I bailed on the whole thing and didn't go to school at all. Fuck Clint Walker.

That was the most civil discourse I've seen from something title "someone calls out other dude for...". Surprisingly I think Clint handled that well. People fuck up, do stupid shit, and I think we all have a bit of ignorance to us, though not specific to race. With that said, should we keep shitting on people who have made strives to bettering themselves?

I think both dudes handled that well, and we need to start encouraging people to being better and stop shitting on them for past mistakes when they've made an effort to change.
