when he was on the 9 club he made it apparent he didnt know the basics of using a camera like setting the shutter speed, aperture and ISO, things beginners learn about on day one of not using full auto mode. dude has put more effort into making full parts of his dogs riding down stairs than learning how to actually operate a camera the right way.

Beagle is definitely not the most technically good filmer in the game BUT he has his own vibe. you can almost alwasy tell its a Beagle clip and thats gotta count for something.

I totally agree that Ty kinda kooked it with flat earth, it felt like a bad acid trip but Pretty Sweet was fantastic and I appreciate someone trying to push the limits and try something new. It's sad that Ty had to personally fund his own project while Beagle is, I assume, on retainer for Baker Boys.

Yeah Right! was fantastic. Pretty Sweet was a hot mess of Trunk Boyz, slow-mo, and filler. CK1/MJ were the only exceptions.

I will say though, I do think Ty has the best catalog as the main filmer of those guys. His early work for Transworld is legendary with Modus, The Reason and The Sixth Sense. Fully Flared has some filming issues but is an amazing video. Now, what Ty is filming like now, I have absolutely no interest in, and I feel he has legit ruined some peoples parts in the editing room with how far he is trying to push cinematography of skating to a non-skating audience.

I cant think of one single skater on Baker that im brimming with anticipation to see a part from (Apart from Dollin, if he even lands a single trick I will probably be stoked). Back in Baker 2g and 3 days, it was hard to think of a skater you werent dying to see a part from and the introduced skaters like Twuan became instant classics too. Baker lost its dark soul when it went sober and reynolds got a guilty conscience about destroying peoples lives for the purpose of selling boards. If there is hope, it lies with Beagle, hes the only one who has kept it real since...

They already did that with Bake and Destroy. I can't imagine them doing it again.
