I expected Zach Allen’s part to be way worse based on what I read here. Don’t get me wrong, it sucks, but it wasn’t as bad as y’all made it out to be.

All the other old dudes put in a good effort. I won’t rewatch any of their stuff, but it was cool to see them still out there. There just wasn’t anything that hasn’t been on IG from any of them really.

Which brings us to Theotis. I don’t dig that dude’s skating. His part was just his backyard stuff out in the streets. Like, it could’ve been green screened from his IG output. Does he have actual hip hop cred that makes him valuable or something? I’m still surprised he survived the culling of the last few months.

Two thumbs up in the free full length category. Not gonna change the world, but I’ll definitely be talking about some of this video in real life.

I feel like a lot of people kinda hated on the tfunk part but I was digging it. By far not the worst part in the vid. Could have done without all those kader closeups though

Skipped around and watched some of the most talked about parts, definitely wanna get my friends together and watch the video in full soon.

Honestly, Kader's second part is really good. I wasn't really a fan up until this point, but now I get the hype more. Also that 9 stair in Dolores Park is longer and way harder to skate than it looks.

Dustin's part was surprisingly sick too, it fit well with the song and got me stoked to skate after this rain dries up.

Zach is not nearly as bad as y'all make him seem.

Spanky's part was everything I was hoping for and more. He's got a really unique way of skating and style to go with it and everything he puts out is so sick. Definitely makes me wanna skate more than anything else I've seen recently, and makes me want to learn some proper wallrides.

Had they called it something instead of 'Baker 4' id probably have been a lot more forgiving. Baker Daycare, Bake and Cupcake, Baker Rehab, Baker Jr.

The old dudes are bummed that the Baker full length feature legacy has been tarnished / lost forever. The younger dudes who are from the insta gen dont care about full lengths and are content that this web release gave them something to watch in the background behind pornhub for a few hours and dont understand how anyone could be bummed on it. I really enjoyed it. Thankful for all the OGs who had any clips in it, the transition from Stella to Elissa and that whole section almost made me cry. Really Happy that Elissa found a home in Baker and Nike at this stage in her life, must feel so rewarding. Been a Baker fan since one day, still got a shirt signed by the whole OG team from their first tour. Just think of running a skateboard company which it what you love ,for almost 20 years with your homies and getting to travel the world and provide a living for your close friends... it's amazing. Thanks Reynolds! Put the capital B in the BOSS.   Also Milton for SOTY, hope he gets on Baker through the Figgy connection.

I saw a thing maybe on neckfaces Instagram stories. But it says the bootleg link baker 4 doesn’t have all the clips as the thrasher one. I don’t buy into this but I also can’t get thrashers shitty media player to play anything that’s not the commercial. Has anyone that has seen both noticed if the thrasher version is different at all?

Id wager there are some  productive people on here who have achieved a lot in that time. Despite the image of this place being riddled with fat comic book guy keyboard warriors, I know at least two alters on here who are running companies outside skateboarding and doing pretty well. Some of the shit ppl on here know including medical terminology tells me there are some up-river cats who slum it out here as a break from their high rolling lives.

I wont criticise the Boss's lack of footage tho, someone said it before but he must have a tonne of Emerica shod footage that he decided to leave behind. I hope he finds a way to release that without giving unwanted shine to an old sponsor. The world needs to see it if it is out there.

that's for sure. I don't doubt there's some successful people here who have plenty going on but I said "some" which in reality is majority.  Also I'll assume those who have shit going on aren't so quick to criticize or nitpick at it, they can appreciate it because they know it took work. This isn't just one man project... it's a co-adhesive effort from a huge group who have plenty of other projects going on simultaneously. People should try to look at it from another perspective besides their own.
