The right are the first to claim being discriminated against for their beliefs but then when they are harassing or intimidating people they are just expressing their right to freedom of speech.
They are the bully that consistently plays the victim card.
Oh, come on, man. I know plenty of people on both sides of the aisle who are super-fired up about whatever they believe in, and if you actually are dumb enough to drink the Kool-Aid and paint everyone who you don't agree with as whatever your preferred media is telling you, then you're a part of the reason people are this fucking dumb now. I know just as many self-identified liberals who kick and scream about being victims every time they shoot off their mouths and get smacked down for saying truly stupid stuff while claiming it's their "right of free speech" while simultaneously decrying everything that someone else says that makes them remotely upset. This lame mentality infects both sides, not just one. And whichever side you're on, if you think this way, you've failed at life.
I tell the same thing to my conservative friends/family who rant about "those raving liberal nutjobs", saying that their shitty divisive politics are just going to fan the flames for more of this because they're swallowing the same shit that those on the other side are. Stop making your politics jockish us-vs-them team sports stuff, it's tired as fuck and just goes to show you're honestly a piece of what's making this nation suck more every year.
Or, you could just go to your favorite echo chamber of single ideas and keep on believing that we're all so radically different that we just can't get along ever again. It's your dime and your time, man, spend it wisely.
