Anyone skate with Unity before? Started going to their Queer skate days and it's pretty sick to find a group that enjoys skating without all the weird aggro shit. Anyway, moving to LA soon and looking for a similar scene.

I feel like most skaters aren't really trippin either(from my experience) as long as you're following common skatepark etiquette and not being a flamboyant doucher.

Unity does go to skate parks. It's not about etiquette. Who you skate with is almost as important as the actual skating in my opinion but saying people don't trip over that, isn't really true. Lots of skateboarders are super homophobic/transphobic still. It's also just more fun to skate with a bunch of fags.
(but unfortunately there are a few rollerbladers who come) (fortunately they are all super hot)

Unfortunately not the case in my experience . Not saying it’s hell on earth, but just because you don’t care doesn’t mean others feel as blasé about it as you.

Is this really a thing in LA?  It's cool that people are out skating and socializing with people they like.  But when I shred the gnar, I always get aggro with it.  There is just no two ways around it.
