Heath retired around 2010. 😮 Can’t believe it’s been so long! It seemed like the right thing to do at the time, but now people like JB Gillet get a welcome video (at Primitive) at 40 and Guy got on Nike around 40. Times sure have changed.

Pro skaters take note. I think Heath is the only intelligent pro skater to ever exist. He knew it wouldn't last forever, made the necessary investments early on to ensure a comfortable life after skating, and bowed out at the top of his game with dignity. Every pro should retire at 32. There's way too many pros anyways.
