Skateboarding isn't PC, we got BA and brands pushing random girls forcefully but that's it, no one really gives a fuck about this stuff. The Jason Jesse bit was just well deserved, most people usually don't like nazis and if you pay attention, skateboarding still gave him a chance, in most places he'd be way worse that he is now.

So, this just reminded me of Will Blakely.  Wonder what happened to him.  Hope he can't go out and skate anywhere in Vancouver and has to move out of the city. Dude's the worst.

Same with Daryl Angel.  Hopefully he gets his muffins.

10/10 deserved everything he got, and watching part of that nine club you can tell he's all fucked up.

GX1000 was pretty rad but they took the hardcore thing too hardcore.

Only thing I can think of as "PC'' is the whole corpo, olympic stream of shit.  Just get off that tip.

Based on the username "BOWL DAWG" and the phrase "PC" (which is a term used by racist people who are mad that they get criticized for being openly racist these days), I'd say the message is that skateboarding is a modern art form that is not constrained by what it was in the 1980s. It probably seems weird that people don't appreciate the same people and things you do, but that's how it always is - every generation hates the generations after it. It's not even that  I'm saying your time is past, just that you have to recognize that your definition of what skateboarding is and who is a "real" skateboarder, etc. are outdated. Keep skating and liking what you like and stop worrying about which things are "PC" now.

Why even write an explanation if you're gonna throw a smug jab in at the start?

The only people who use the term "PC" are right-wingers, and that's definitely what it means when they say something is too"PC"– but also not totally giving up on the idea that this may have been a sincere question from someone who was not just taking the piss. I know it's unlikely, but it could happen.

I think the day you realize why skateboarding is so “PC” is when u realize who influences the industry, and how that’s such a beautiful magical thing of skating. Like, most flow/am/pros recognize they aren’t gonna make much, and after they “retire” they still skate which is rad. Usually those people become influential to the next generation by relocating wherever they do for whatever they do next because they generally influence the local parks, or whatever. It’s kind of like people have grown up by then and those dudes host the scenes in there respective niches geographically. Most of those dudes tend to be rad people because they have been there and done that, and genuinely want to give back to the community. I think skateboarding is rad as fuck in that regard.

a good rule of thumb, if you are wondering if a word is pc or not, just say shalom instead of that word and you'll be fine.
